Construction

Once a potential site has been evaluated and approved, our Project Management Team consults with the franchisee through the entire site development and construction process. The Team offers its expertise in selecting a contractor, negotiating pricing, monitoring the construction activities, and assuring that the high quality standards of Kokopelli Fresh Mexican Grill™ is met.

Kokopelli Fresh Mexican Grill Project Administrator has over 30 years of experience in restaurant design and construction industry. He has supervised all aspects of construction including permits and approvals for hundreds of restaurants.

The selection of your contractor is very important and we want to ensure you receive the best value for your dollars invested. Our Project Management Team pre-qualifies contractors prior to allowing them to bid on the project. Each contractor selected to bid on your project must be pre-qualified by Kokopelli Fresh Mexican Grill™.

After our architectural team completes construction documents, we solicit bids from at least three (3) pre-qualified contractors, including our national construction firm. This method allows you to receive the most competitive pricing for the construction of your new store. The bids are received and thoroughly reviewed by our Project Management Team, then presented and explained to you in detail.

As construction begins, we monitor the progress of the work and provide you with status and schedule updates weekly. A typical build-out is accomplished in approximately 6-8 weeks; however, this timeframe may vary depending upon site conditions and local jurisdiction requirements.

At the conclusion of construction, the Project Manager, architect, contractor and franchisee conduct a final on-site inspection. This inspection allows all parties to review and approve the finished product and readiness of your store to open.
